Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service is complete and now the procession is on its way to the Royal Vault at St. Georges Chapel in Windsor Castle.  India’s President Droupadi Murmu was in attendance.

Various heads of state from across the world flew in to attend the service and to offer their condolences to the grieving Royal Family.

She visited Westminster Hall in London to offer her condolences to the late 96-year-old monarch who reigned for 70 years on Sunday. Murmu was in attendance for the Queen’s funeral service at West Gate of Westminster Abbey. After the conclusion of the service in the afternoon, she will attend a reception being hosted by James Cleverly, the UK’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.

President Murmu along with foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra arrived on Saturday September 17 at London’s Gatwick airport where she was received by Vikram Doraiswami, the High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom.

She has been on an official tour to the United Kingdom from September 17, and will be in the country until September 19 for the Funeral. 

The President offered tributes to the departed soul on her own behalf and on behalf of the people of India,” the Rashtrapati Bhawan had tweeted earlier in the day.

On Sunday, President Murmu met with King Charles III at a reception held at Buckingham Palace. She went on to sign the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II’s passing at the Lancaster House near the royal residence. “President Droupadi Murmu signed the Condolence Book in the memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Lancaster House, London,” the Rashtrapati Bhawan had tweeted on Sunday.

Other heads of state like French  President Emmanuel Macron, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Belgium’s King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Spain’s King Felipe and Queen Letizia were also present for the funeral service at Westminster Abbey.
