Many people have thought about leaving their hometowns and relocating to another nation. Many people desire exposure to many cultures and lifestyles. Moving to a new location, however, can be very expensive. But what if a nation offered to pay you to relocate there? Well, this might seem a little strange, but Ireland pays anyone who moves there more than €80,000.
Ireland has unveiled a plan that would provide significant financial incentives to anybody who choose to move to one of the nation’s offshore communities. The initiative is a part of the Irish government’s Our Living Islands program, which aims to boost the population of Ireland’s islands.
The purpose of this strategy, according to the official government website, is to guarantee that thriving, sustainable communities can continue to exist on offshore islands for many years to come. The desire for island visitors to be able to continue experiencing and appreciating the distinctive culture, heritage, and environmental diversity of the island is related to that goal. Beginning on July 1, the application for this program will be available.

How to get paid to move to an island in Ireland
The “Our Living Islands” programme provides assistance to 30 islands that are tidally cut off from the mainland and not connected by bridges.
The Irish government will provide new residents of offshore communities with approximately €80,000 as part of the scheme.
However, relocating into a charming island home and receiving a sizable bank deposit the following day are not realistic scenarios.
The generous financial aid is being provided as a strategy to save and renovate the increasing number of run-down and abandoned buildings on the islands.
As a result, getting the free money comes with a few restrictions.

A property on one of the islands must be bought and owned by prospective residents. The structure must to be built before 1993 and unoccupied for at least two years.
There are also restrictions on how to spend the money once it has been received. The funds can be used for re-modelling, adding insulation, and improving the structure of the building.
