Justin Bieber is set to make a guest appearance at Coachella 2022 as per TMZ reports, which cited production sources.

The “Baby” singer is set to share the stage with collaborator Daniel Caesar, for a rendition of their song “Peaches“. Notably, Bieber has his Justice World Tour ongoing and will be taking time on his off days amid touring, to surprise audiences at the music festival.

The event, which can be live-streamed, has two of Bieber’s collaborators, Caesar and Giveon, set to take the stage on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Complex reported that it remains unknown at the time if Giveon, fellow “Peaches” singer, will be joining Bieber and Caesar for the opening day performance. The trio saw the track take off and snag four Grammy nominations in 2022.

Coachella has seen quite a few changes this year, with headliner Kanye West backing out, eventually being replaced by the Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia. On Thursday, a day before the event, Canadian indie group Arcade Fire announced that they were part of the lineup as well.

Earlier, Rage Against the Machine was supposed to headline, but the group backed out as well. Instead, they decided to go on their own concert tour.

Some of the performers who are part of this year’s Coachella lineup are Harry Styles, Lil Baby, Phoebe Bridgers, Baby Keem, Big Sean, Black Coffee, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cordae, Princess Nokia, Bishop Briggs, City Girls.

Last two years, Coachella stood cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. While it is taking place in 2022, there are guidelines in place to keep attendees safe. This year also spells a welcome change for Latin music to take the center stage since Coachella 2022 sees double the Latin acts, as compared to 2020.
