Krispy Kreme and Pokemon have teamed together to create new doughnuts depicting fan favorites Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

Fans may treat themselves to the vividly colored doughnuts for $3.75 a piece to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the worldwide renowned entertainment franchise.

The doughnut collection pays homage to the original generation of Pokemon characters, as well as the famous Poke Ball, with five flavors to select from. According to Olivia Sutherland, Krispy Kreme Australia marketing director:

‘Pokémon is a pop culture mainstay that defies generations, much like our iconic Krispy Kreme doughnuts, ‘We hope this sweet doughnut range brings back fond memories and re-ignites a love of the simple joys in life.

The Pikachu doughnut is loaded with chocolate cream, dipped in white truffle, and topped with a white chocolate plaque, while the Bulbasaur is topped with green apple icing, and sugar, a creamy swirl, and a white chocolate plaque. The Charmander doughnut is filled with Vanilla custard filling, covered in white truffle, and completed with a white choc plaque, whilst the Squirtle doughnut is filled with strawberry-flavored filling, covered in white truffle, and finished with a white choc plaque. The Poke Ball doughnut is dipped in white truffle, sprinkled with red sprinkles, and topped with a white chocolate plaque. Pokémon doughnuts are scheduled to be sold every two weeks at selected retailers across Australia starting on September 7.

Shoppers may purchase the doughnuts in-store or online, or they can choose to pick them up at the store or have them delivered to their residence via home delivery services. Doughnuts depicting Poke Balls, Bulbasaur doughnuts with Charmander and Squirtle on them as well as two Pikachu ones and six Original Glazed ones will be sold only online for $29.95.
