With Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Loki episode 4 ‘The Nexus Event’, expectations of fans have stepped up to see what awaits them in the remaining two episodes. While the latest episode showed how the titular character Loki %u2013 who was on the brink of death %u2013 woke up to a ravaged planet, episode 4 also featured the first post-credits scene of series.

In the post-credits scene, it was seen that Loki wakes up in a ravaged world which he initially mistakes for ‘Hel’ (‘Hel’ as in ‘Hell’). The planet was full of crumbling buildings and broken structures. Notably, it also had a ruined Avengers tower that was scattered across the gray landscape.
When Loki was curious to know where he was, we heard someone responding to him, but off screen. Reportedly, they are said to be the different variants of Loki himself. Want to know who they are? Well, we have got you covered.

Here are the three new variants of Loki that we could possibly meet in the coming episodes:
Classic Loki (Richard E. Grant)
‘Classic Loki’, played by Richard E. Grant, was the first person to speak off camera in the post-credits scene. Dressed in the classic yellow-and-green Loki costume from the Marvel comics, he said %u201CNot yet, but you will be unless you come with us,%u201D when Loki asked, %u201CIs this Hel?%u201D
Notably, this is the God of Evil that tormented Thor for most of the time since the character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962. Classic Loki seems to be the most haggard of the bunch who was spotted wearing dirty clothes and a bag slung over his shoulder.

Kid Loki (Jack Veal)
Following the female Loki, Sylvie, we will soon have another variant of Loki aka ‘Kid Loki’ who will appear in the coming episodes. Played by Jack Veal, he was seen carrying what looks like a mini-crocodile with Loki horns as an accessory.
In the comics, it was seen that Kid Loki ultimately died at the hands of Classic Loki, so this mid-credits scene has some slightly awkward undertones.

Boastful Loki (Deobai Oparei)
Last in the list we have a black Loki who was carrying a hammer %u2013 similar to Mjolnir. He is called ‘Boastful Loki’ and is played by DeObia Oparei in the Loki episode 4 post-credits scene.
This variant of Loki appears to be a combination of both the Gods of Mischief and Thunder, who was holding a hammer of his own while donning the familiar costume of Loki.

As of now, we only know this much about the different variants of Loki. The next episode of Loki, episode 5, will drop in Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar on July 7 at 12:30pm IST.
