The%20share%20of%20electrified%20cars%20rose%20from%202%20%25%20in%202019%20to%207.4%20%25%20in%202020.%20Plug-in%20hybrids%20sale%u2019s%20almost%20quadrupled%20to%20above%201%2C15%2C000%20units.%20Approximately%2020%2C000%20EQC%20were%20handed%20over%20to%20customers%20around%20the%20world.

The%20EQV%20reached%20sales%20of%20about%201%2C700%20vehicles.%20All-electric%20smart%20model%u2019s%20deliveries%20rounded%20approximately%2027%2C000%20units%2C%20a%20strong%20double-digit%20increase%20compared%20with%20the%20previous%20sales%20record%20in%202019%20%2818%2C400%20units%29.

2021%20will%20see%20more%20electrified%20vehicles%20introducing%20to%20global%20markets.%20A%20total%20of%20four%20new%20Mercedes-EQ%20models%20will%20be%20presented%3A%20the%20EQA%2C%20EQB%2C%20EQE%20and%20EQS.%20The%20Mercedes-Benz%20plug-in%20hybrid%20family%2C%20currently%20consisting%20of%20more%20than%2020%20model%20variants%2C%20will%20be%20renewed%20with%20electrified%20derivatives%20of%20the%20C-Class%20and%20the%20S-Class.%20For%202021%2C%20Mercedes-Benz%20Cars%20expects%20to%20increase%20its%20share%20in%20the%20electric%20vehicle%20space%20to%20approximately%2013%20%25.
