A video posted by Reuters on Youtube showcases the Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico City, which has installed an exhibition to commemorate Pride month, depicting the historical significance of the LGBTQ+ community. The video, posted on June 24, reveals that the aim of this exhibition is to show that diversity and inclusion are inseparable from human history, and highlight their roles. The exhibition includes figures such as Sappho, a gay poet who lived in the 3rd century B.C.

Exhibition curator Laura Velez claims that discrimination “is a temporary stance in societies and culture.”
