The currently streaming documentary series “MH370: The Plane that Disappeared” on Netflix explores the unresolved aviation mystery of flight MH370. 239 passengers and staff members were on board this aircraft. On the morning of March 8, 2014, it was scheduled to arrive in Beijing after leaving Kuala Lumpur.

The show employs dramatized reconstruction and one-on-one conversations with theorists, journalists, and other specialists like Mike Exner in an effort to learn the truth about the mysterious disappearance. What exactly transpired during the flight when it vanished without a trace is unknown, and it is still one of aviation history’s greatest mysteries.

Who is Mike Exner?

Michel “Mike” Exner is a specialist in aviation and a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in electrical engineering. Subsequently, he founded a number of businesses, including American Mobile Satellite Corporation, Skylink Corporation, and Synergetics International Inc.

Following that, Mike worked as a GPS/MET System Manager for the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research before joining Radiometrics Corporation in 2002 as an Executive Vice President. Mike assumed leadership of Radiometrics Corporation in 2010, and from December 2011 to December 2014, he was the board of directors chairman.

As an aviation specialist who appeared in the documentary, Michel Exner talked about how he detested going through all the bizarre conspiracy ideas. Also, he discussed the information provided by INMARSAT and made an effort to express his own views on the situation.

While appearing on the show, Mike added that in addition to his many years of piloting expertise, he is also extremely knowledgeable about atmospheric science and satellite communications. He was able to thoroughly investigate the disappearance of MH370 as a result.

Mike retired in December 2014 and is now living in Longmont, Colorado, where he has created a wonderful life with his loved ones. Along with sharing his vast aviation knowledge, he also leads an active lifestyle and continues to partake in pursuits like rafting, towing, and mountaineering.
