scored 55 while Nurul Hasan 41. But the rest of Bangladesh batters could not
even reach the double-figure mark.

Earlier, resuming Day 2 at 349/1, Devon

Mehidy Hasan’s stunning throw. Tom Latham, who was unbeaten on 186 at day 1

Earlier, Bangladesh picked up four wickets
and gave away just 74 in the opening session to stage a small fightback. After
picking up eight from the opening over of the day, both Conway and Latham were
made to work hard for the runs and that resulted in a wicket. Mehidy Hasan got
the run out to find Conway short to end his 166-ball knock. Ross Taylor walked
in to a standing ovation from the crowd in his final Test and raised a 48-run
stand with Latham to keep Bangladesh at bay.
