Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has yet again become a subject of online trolling. During a live telecast, he made a blunder by saying the population of India is one billion and 300 crores.

This came as he was drawing an analogy with world and test cricket. He continued, “Comparing 40-50 lakh population to a country like India “which has 1 billion 300 crore people”.” The video has gone viral on the internet.

India’s population is 136 crores according to the 2019 census data.

This was not the first time the Pakistan Prime Minister was trolled for making blunders. Only recently at the Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Forum in the conference, Imran Khan expressed his desire to introduce cricket to the citizens of Uzbekistan. This happened after Pakistan and Uzbekistan announced a joint production on a film on Zaheer ud din Babur, the first Mughal emperor.

“We hope that this will be the beginning of a strong cultural exchange between the two countries. As our countries get closer […] I will introduce cricket to the people of Uzbekistan,” Imran Khan said at the conference.

The former Pakistani cricketer also went on to claim that he knew more about Uzbekistan’s history than the people of Uzbekistan. He talked about the history, religion, and culture of Uzbekistan and said, “I know the history of Uzbekistan more than Uzbek people.”

A few years ago in 2019, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was trolled on social media after his comment saying Germany and Japan share a common border and would not have “bad relations” because of common economic interests.
