The much-publicised feud between Princes Harry and William took a backseat after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Wales made a public appearance together when they came to pay tribute to the departed queen at Windsor Castle.
Reports suggest that the reunion between the two brothers took 45 minutes of negotiation before an agreement was reached, and it was their first appearance together after the Commonwealth Day on March 9, 2022.

The relationship between the two has gone sour since 2018 after Harry reportedly claimed that William was not doing enough to accommodate his wife, the actor Meghan Markle, into the royal family.
The sources at the Royal residence are claiming that it was Prince William who reached out to Harry. A representative of Prince William told The Times of London, “The Prince of Wales invited the Duke and Duchess to join him and the Princess of Wales,” adding, “The Prince of Wales thought it was an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family.”
The two brothers paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth II and met mourners and royal fans who also came to pay their respects. They also took a stroll on the lawns of Windsor Castle along with their wives.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not gotten along with the royal family ever since their marriage on May 19, 2018. The royal couple laid bare their frustrations with the royal family in their 2020 biography Finding Freedom. The friction between the two brothers has also come up in the Oprah interview of Harry and Meghan.
The feud is far from over, especially given Meghan’s August 2022 interview with The Cut where she dropped even more bombshells on the royal family.
