More than 20 universities from India have made it to the QS World University Rankings this year. The latest rankings are also the largest with more than 1,400 universities in 100 countries in the list. There are seven new entries from India and 12 universities have improved their score from last year.

“This edition of the rankings reflects the excellent work that several Indian universities are doing to improve their research footprint, with positive consequences for their reputation on the global stage,” commented senior vice-president at QS, Ben Sowter.
