Singer Omarion jokes in a video, saying, “You don’t need a negative test result in order to dance to my music“. Covid cases have been rising again and the latest variant of the coronavirus is known as Omicron, hence the comparison to the singer.
Omarion is an American singer, songwriter, actor and dancer. He is best known as the lead singer of the American R&B boy band B2K. The band achieved success with the songs “Bump, Bump, Bump” and “Girlfriend”. He has also been a part of several movies such as the Somebody Help Me series, You Got Served, Fat Albert, Wrong Side Of Time and Feel The Noise.

The video was posted on the Pop Crave channel on Twitter on January 1, 2022. The clip is doing the rounds on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. He posted two more videos on the same subject and all three went viral. Each one of these was viewed over 1 lakh times. In one of the videos, Omarion wishes his audience a happy New Year and tells his fans to ”be safe, be healthy, happy New Year”.
The clip-on Pop Craves’ channel has gained around 161k views on Twitter and has 702 retweets, 404 quote tweets and 4,809 likes. The comments section was thrilled by this hilarious video.One user commented, “This is a classic”, and another comment read, “Okay, this was kinda funny”.

Omicron cases have crossed the 1 million mark which broke the world record. The new variant emerged likely around September or October of 2021. The new variant apparently has over 30 mutations in spike protein. The omicron variant was originally discovered in Botswana, where there were four reported cases among fully vaccinated people which raised questions regarding the vaccines and their ability to stop the spread of the virus.
