Shinzo Abe is a Japanese politician who served as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2006 to 2007 and again from 2012 to 2020. He is a conservative described as a right-wing Japanese nationalist.
It is reported that the Japanese former PM has a net worth of $10 million in 2022.

The majority of his income comes from being a politician. His monthly salary is $70,000+ with an annual income of more than $1 million. He advocated revising Article 9 of the pacifist Japanese constitution to permit Japan to maintain military forces.
Abe wanted to change Article 9 during his first term as Prime Minister, but his early resignation prevented action.

His premiership was internationally renowned for his government’s economic policies, nicknamed Abenomics, which aimed to pursue monetary easing, fiscal stimulus and structural reforms.

He announced his resignation in August 2020 due to health issues.
