Duke and Duchess of Sussex Harry and Meghan Markle, on Sunday,
unearthed several deeply troubling experiences they had gone through during
their time spent with the British Royal Family in the last few years during their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Markle, who discussed several topics in the candid
conversation, sent Winfrey a text while the special was airing, as per a report
by News18.

The interview taken by popular talk show host Winfrey
seemingly cleared up a few things on the outset, such as the questions had not
been provided to her or Harry in advance, that the tell-all conversation was
basically ‘no holds barred’ in terms of topics discussed, and also that the
couple had not been compensated for appearing for the interview.

Apparently, Markle texted Winfrey, asking how the release
was going during the airing of the episode.

“Well, I haven’t really spoken to them since the interview
because we’re in different time zones. I got a text from Meghan yesterday
saying, ‘How’s it going?’ Because she was putting Archie to bed waiting on the
West Coast feed and had no idea what was happening on the East Coast”, Winfrey
was quoted in the News18 report as saying to CBS This Morning after the
interview.

The host further informed that she wrote back “‘I don’t
either, from what I can tell it’s going well, I know it’s airing,’”.

The feud between the estranged royals and the Royal Family
seemingly reached new heights, as Markle confirmed on Sunday’s interview that
there were concerns inside the Royal Family over how dark the skin of Archie,
her son, would be and how she was denied help for her mental health crisis.
