Sony has released the first trailer of ‘God of War: Ragnarok’ during the PlayStation Showcase. The plot of God of War: Ragnarok starts sometime after the events of the last game, with an older Kratos and Atreus attempting to live in the frozen landscape as Ragnarok looms, and the Norse god Thor pursuing vengeance on the father and son.

In addition to utilising wolves and a sled to cross frozen lakes, players will be able to take their boats to new villages and engage with the locals. There is also a slew of monsters and villains to contend with, and the father and son team is up to the task.

Last year’s trailer, on the other hand, was lacking in specifics. It only revealed a logo and a delivery date of 2021, which we now know was excessively optimistic. Since then, the game has been cloaked in mystery, with the last update coming in June when Santa Monica Studios revealed the game’s release date has been pushed to 2022.
