The company has reported a net loss of Rs 31.74 crore for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022, as compared to a net loss of Rs 351.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. On a consolidated basis, the company has reported many fold jump in net profit at Rs 4,645.47 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 13.13 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

Blue Dart Express

In Q4FY22, the express air and integrated transportation firm reported a 20.7% YoY increase in its standalone profit after tax of Rs 135 crore, up from Rs 89 crore the same period preceding year. Revenue from operations for the quarter increased by 21% year on year to Rs 1,166 crore, up from Rs 966 crore in the previous year. For fiscal year 21-22, the firm announced a final dividend of Rs 60 per equity share.

Quarterly  results on May 6

Reliance Industries, Canara Bank, Sundaram-Clayton, Tata Power Company, CSB Bank, Federal Bank, Great Eastern Shipping Company, Bajaj Consumer Care, Apollo Pipes, Apollo Tricoat Tubes, Greenpanel Industries, Grindwell Norton, Hariom Pipe Industries, Kokuyo Camlin, Shipping Corporation of India, Paisalo Digital, Paushak, Reliance Home Finance, Vesuvius India, and Vikas EcoTech will release their quarterly earnings on May 6.

DCM Shriram 

The company announced a 73% rise in net profit for Q4FY22 to Rs 401 crore, up from Rs 232 crore in the same time the previous year. Its net revenue from operations increased by 28% year on year to Rs 2,796 crore, up from Rs 2,191 crore the previous year, led by development in its Chemicals, Vinyl, Fertilizers, Fenesta, and Farm Solutions divisions. Sugar revenue fell throughout the period. The corporation issued a final dividend of 245%, bringing the year’s total dividend to 735%.

Exide Industries

The company has reported a 16- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 4119.65 crore for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022, as compared to Rs 244.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. On a consolidated basis, the company has reported a 12-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 3952.83 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 320.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

Ceat 

The company’s consolidated net profit for Q4FY22 fell by 83% to Rs 25.25 crore, compared to Rs 153 crore in the same period the previous year. Profits fell due to an increase in the cost of raw materials. Revenues, on the other hand, climbed by 13% year on year to Rs 2,592 crore. Profit for the whole year fell by 84% to Rs 71 crore, compared to Rs 432 crore in FY21. FY22 revenue grew by 23% to Rs 9,363 crore. For FY22, the company declared a dividend of Rs 3 per equity share.

Wipro | HFCL

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri 

Due to the impact of the pandemic and geopolitical turmoil on overall demand, profit after tax for the quarter fell 72% to Rs 2.43 crore, compared to Rs 8.6 crore reported during the same time the previous year. Revenues, on the other hand, increased 18% year on year to Rs 431 crore, up from Rs 366 crore in the previous year’s quarter. Profit for FY22 has dropped by 60% to Rs 17 crore from Rs 43 crore in FY21. Revenue grew by 37% year on year to Rs 1,844 crore. For FY22, the firm has announced a dividend of Re 1 per equity share.

Cigniti Technologies 

The company has signed a binding agreement to purchase 100% ownership in Aparaa Digital, a prominent AI/ML, Data engineering, Analytics, and Blockchain services firm known as ‘RoundSqr’ and its overseas subsidiaries, RoundSqr; USA and RoundSqr; Australia.

Blue Star 

The consolidated net profit for the quarter increased by 12% year on year to Rs 76.27 crore, up from Rs 68.09 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations increased 39.5% to an all-time high of Rs 2,247.58 crores in Q4FY21, up from Rs 1,611.56 crore in Q4FY21. Net profit for the year was Rs 168.00 crores, up from Rs 100.66 crores in FY21, marking a 66.9% increase. Revenue from operations increased 41.8% year on year to Rs 6,045.58 crores from Rs 4,263.59 crore in FY21. For FY22, the firm proposed a dividend of Rs 10 per equity share of Rs 2 each.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings 

Due to decreased lower costs and tax credits from prior years, profit after tax for the quarter increased by 76% to Rs 105 crore, compared to Rs 60 crore in the same quarter last year. However, revenue increased by 2% year on year to Rs 550 crore, up from Rs 539 crore in the previous year’s quarter. Profit climbed by 68% to Rs 362 crore in FY22, up from Rs 215 crore in FY21. Revenue climbed 36% year on year to Rs 2,130 crore. For FY22, the firm has announced a dividend of Re 0.77 per equity share.

Dabur India

The company has reported a fall of 2.83% in its net profit at Rs 291.76 crore for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022, as compared to Rs 300.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. On a consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 21.99% in its net profit at Rs 294.34 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 377.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
