It was one of those rare occasions when songs were sung in Delhi High court. Hearing on actor Juhi Chawla’s plea against the implementation of 5G technology was briefly interrupted on Wednesday when songs from her film echoed during the virtual hearing. The intruder continued singing until the judge ordered his removal. The man, however, managed to rejoin and continued singing.

The song, ‘ghoongat ki aad mein…’, from Juhi Chawla-Aamir Khan starrer ‘Hum hain raahi pyar ke’ suddenly started ringing during the hearing in the court of Justice JR Midha. “Mute it”, the judge said. “I hope these are not distractions from the defendants,” submitted Deepak Khosla who was appearing for Chawla, according to media reports.

Although the person was removed several times from the proceedings, he kept returning and singing songs from Juhi Chawla movies. He belted out the songs ‘Lal lal hoton pe gori tera naam hai’ from the 1995 movie ‘Najayaz’ and ‘Meri banno ki aayegi baraat’ from ‘Aaina’.
