Andrew Tate, the controversial internet personality, and his brother Tristan Tate will be moved from detention to house arrest with immediate effect, a Romanian judge has ordered.
The duo has spent three months in Romanian jail after being detained in December 2022 on suspicion of organized crime and human trafficking. The Bucharest court of appeals ruled in their favor and replaced the latest period of custody, which was to end on April 29.
Tate’s associates, Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu are also being released. All four will remain under house arrest until April 29, Ramona Bolla, spokesperson for Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said.
Who are Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu?
According to various reports, Naghel and Radu helped Andrew Tate force his victims to indulge in pornography.
Luana Radu is a former police officer, who turned to the adult entertainment industry. She is 32 years old. She graduated from Romanian Police Academy. Radu worked at a police station in central Bucharest for almost four years. She quit her job to start a career working in video chat rooms, where she met Andrew Tate. She became Andrew’s administrative assistant and helped him build his online business which is estimated to be worth $100 million.
Georgiana Naghel is a businesswoman and influencer. She was born in Bucharest and grew up in the Tuhari district. Reported, she met Andrew through friends after he moved to Romania. She is believed to be dating him for almost a year. The two were regular at Bucharest’s exclusive clubs and bars.
Both women have been accused of coercing and controlling at least six victims to take part in social media porn. They allegedly helped Tristan and Andrew keep the victims under house arrest like prisoners. Naghel and Radu are Tate’s trusted lieutenants and his angels.
