The Jonas Brothers will perform at AT&T Stadium during the halftime of the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day, Dallas Cowboys game versus the New York Giants.

The Jonas Brothers announced on their respective social media accounts by posting blue numbers on white backgrounds. The numbers: 11, 24, and 22 began to appear one by one, but there remained a mystery until the trio subsequently linked the dots to let fans know the exciting news in partnership with the Cowboys, NFL, and The Salvation Army. The Jonas and The Salvation Army logos were displayed on each of the three Cowboys football jerseys.

Although the Cowboys have seen a number of well-known performers on Thanksgiving over the years, the Jonas Brothers are the first to appear twice. The Jonas Brothers gave their first Thanksgiving performance in 2008. 

Who are the Jonas brothers? 

  The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band. They formed the band in 2005 after they earned major recognition for their performances on the Disney Channel television network. This band comprises three brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas.   

The Jonas Brothers were raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey and they later relocated to Little Falls, New Jersey, in 2005. In the same year, they wrote the first song that was released by Hollywood Records.

The Jonas Brothers collaborated with many music producers, including Billy Mann (Destiny’s Child) and Desmond Child, before releasing their debut album, “It’s About Time,” in 2006. (Aerosmith).

Over three years, they also starred in Both Camp Rock, a 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, a sequel released in 2010.

Additionally, they had also starred in their own Disney Channel sitcom Jonas.

The group has released five albums: Lines (2006), It’s About Time (2008), Jonas Brothers (2007), Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2019). 

The Jonas Brothers also earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist in 2008. They had sold more than eight million records worldwide before the release of Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. 

Apart from singing, they are also involved in many philanthropic activities. The Jonas Brothers made an estimated $12 million in revenue in 2007 and gave 10% of that sum to the Change for the Children Foundation, a charitable organization started by Nick Jonas. 

The Jonas Brothers have performed multiple times at We Day, a gathering that inspires youth to carry out regional and international deeds of kindness. They have also collaborated in early 2022 with  Global Citizen to fight hunger worldwide.
