Anthony Eugene Robinson, a 35-year-old, was identified as the “shopping cart killer” by Harrisonburg and Fairfax County police on Friday. He is currently under the custody of Virginia Police.
Robinson has been charged with the murder of Allene Elizabeth “Beth” Redmon, a 54-year-old from Harrisonburg and 39-year old Tonita Lorice Smith from Charlottesville.

The Fairfax County police is also linking the murder of Cheyenne Brown with Robinson. The lady belonged to Washington DC and her remains were found in wooded area in the Huntington area of Fairfax County on Wednesday.’
Police say the bodies of four victims have been found since August in the commonwealth.

Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said, “We’re here today to talk about a serial killer — and that is a phrase that I’ve used sparingly in my three decades in this profession.”
The police are calling him the shopping cart killer because he transports the dead body to their ultimate resting place in a shopping cart.
According to the reports by the police, Anthony Eugene Robinson allegedly meets his victims on dating sites and motels. After his encounter with them, he kills them without any known reason, as of now.

A human remain, as earlier mentioned, was found on Wednesday in an isolated wooden area. The remains were in a container near a shopping cart in the 2400 block of Fairhaven Avenue in the Alexandria section of Fairfax Count.
The police claims that all the victims were slayed with blunt force trauma.
Although there is video evidence of the incident, the police is apprehensive of releasing the footage as they are currently working with the victims’ families.
