Imran Tahir, a South African cricketer, is predominantly a spin bowler and a right-handed batsman. Tahir hails from Pakistan. The googly master has played in all the three formats of cricket. But he has performed the best in the white ball matches.
Tahir made his test and One Day International (ODI) debut in 2011 but in T20 format, he made his debut two years later in 2013.
Tahir is the first South African bowler to take seven wickets in an ODI, and also the fastest South African to reach 100 ODI wickets. He became the fastest South African to reach 50 T20I wickets.

Imran Tahir is one of the 15 players who have been named in the South Africa squad to play the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.
In the Indian Premiere League (IPL), the spinner plays for the yellow squad, Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Tahir is widely famous for his running celebration after every wicket he takes, known as The Marathon. In 2019, the cricketer announced his retirement from the ODI cricket.
