Lawrence “Larry” Rudolph is a 67-year-old wealthy dentist who used to be part of a Pittsburgh-area dental franchise and was found guilty of murder and mail fraud on Monday in the fatal shooting of his wife at the end of an African safari in 2016. 

Rudolph was charged with murder in the 2016 death of his wife – Bianca Rudolph as well as mail fraud for cashing in $4.8 million in life insurance claims in what prosecutors describe as a premeditated crime.

Lawrence listed his positions as president of Weatherby Foundation International, chief communications officer for Safari Club International, and owner of Three Rivers Dental Group on LinkedIn. He was also a previous president of Safari Club International. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a dentistry degree.

Early Life:

Rudolph first met Bianca while they were both in dentistry school in Pittsburgh. Bianca Finizio was enrolled in an undergraduate programme at the University of Pittsburgh. They were married in 1982.

Around the same time, Rudolph started his dental practice, where Bianca initially worked. She started working there less after they had two kids. ln about 2006, Rudolph split from his business partners and founded Three Rivers Dental, a new network of dental facilities. The couple had relocated to Arizona around four years before Bianca’s death, but they retained their dental offices in Pennsylvania, and Lawrence would frequently go back and forth on business.

Lawrence Rudolph was found guilty and now risks the death penalty or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Ms. Milliron, Rudolph’s girlfriend, is also facing charges of lying before a grand jury and aiding and abetting the crime. Lori Milliron, now 64 years old, started working for Three Rivers Dental in 2003, that was the year she was introduced to Larry Rudolph for the very first time. During her testimony, she made it clear that the physical aspect of her relationship with Larry Rudolph occurred “occasionally.”
