A professor from Rutgers University identified as Noura Erakat is accusing Israel of bombing a hospital in Gaza. In her speech, she alleges that Israel is thirsty for Palestine’s blood.

Rutgers University professor Noura Erakat has been outspoken in her condemnation of Israel, saying that it is indifferent to Palestinian life and that it is erroneously claiming blame for a hospital bombing in Gaza. She has gained notoriety throughout her academic career for criticizing both India and Israel.

Who is Noura Erakat? 

Noura Erakat is also an associate professor at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where she teaches criminal justice and African studies and is known for her advocacy for Palestinian Americans. She also co-founded and co-edits the Middle East-focused online magazine and research platform Jadaliyya.

The intersection of international law, human rights, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the focus of Erakat’s scholarly and advocacy work. She is a strong opponent of US involvement in the area as well as Israeli policies.

Erakat’s professional background includes roles as a national organizer for the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, legal advocate for the Badil Resource Center for Palestinian Refugee and Residency Rights, and legal counsel for a Congressional Subcommittee in the U.S. House of Representatives.
