The Riddler is one of Batman‘s most well-known supervillains, yet his last live-action film appearance was in 1995’s ‘Batman Forever’. The Riddler first appears in Detective Comics #140, written by Bill Finger and penciled by Dick Sprang, back in 1948. In 2009, IGN selected and recognised The Riddler as the 59th Greatest Comic Book Villain of all time. The character has a large number of challenging riddles, puzzles, and word games.
