Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday attacked
Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh over the latter’s condemnation of
the Haryana Government trying to stop the farmers marching to Delhi. Taking to Twitter, Khattar wrote, “.@capt_amarinder ji, I’ve said it earlier and I’m saying it again, I’ll leave politics if there’ll be any trouble on the MSP – therefore, please stop inciting innocent farmers.”  

In series of tweets, the Haryana CM said that he has been trying to communicate with the Punjab CM for the last three days but was unable to do so.

The accusation against the Khattar government from the Punjab CMO’s
office has been in regard to the Haryana Government trying to prevent farmers
from marching to Delhi. According to ANI, the Punjab CM termed the use of force
as ‘undemocratic and unconstitutional’.

On Wednesday, the farmers marching from Punjab to Delhi faced resistance
from the Haryana Government, as apart from using water cannons and putting up
barricades, Haryana suspended bus services from Punjab.

The protestors have continued their march to Delhi amid water cannons and tear gas being used by
the police to disperse the them.
