Yoshinoya, a Japanese restaurant chain, has partnered with Pokemon to create a unique menu of gyudon and curry served in a Poke Ball-designed bowl. Each meal includes a Sinnoh starter Pokemon figurine.

The Pokemon bowls may be ordered for both dine-in and take-out. When ordering takeout, the restaurant includes a Poke Ball-themed bag and takeaway bowl.
The partnership will take place in three waves, according to Yoshinoya. On August 27, 2021, the first wave will begin and finish on September 26, 2021. Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Riolu, or Eevee are among the initial wave figurines. They will be distributed at random. The second wave will begin on October 1, 2021, followed by the third wave on November 5, 2021.

While the ceramic bowls are usually exclusively available for dine-in orders, there is a method for Japanese residents to acquire one. From August 27 to November 24, 2021, Yoshinoya will conduct sweepstakes. Customers may participate by providing receipts with one point for each Pokemon meal consumed. A set of four ceramic bowls, each modeled like the Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball, will be given away to 1,000 individuals.

This isn’t Yoshinoya’s first Pokemon partnership. Between December 2019 and October 2020, the chain hosted the first three phases of a similar collaboration. The third wave, which took place between September and October 2020, included Pokemon from the Galar region.
To coincide with the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on November 19, 2021, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus on January 28, 2022, the newest cooperation will concentrate on Pokemon native to the Sinnoh region. On Nintendo Switch, all of the aforementioned titles will be available.
