Kozhikode airport crash: 16 killed after Air India flight overshoots runway

An Air India plane, with 190 people onboard, from Dubai to Kozhikode, Kerala skidded during landing at Karipur Airport at around 7.45 pm on Friday. Around 16 people have been killed, 123 have been injured and 15 have been seriously injured in the incident. The Director-General of Civil Aviation has ordered a detailed inquiry into the matter.
