Allahabad University Admission 2021 begins for UG, PG courses. Here’s how to apply

  • The registration process will commence till October 3
  •  Entrance exam for UG, PG and research courses will be held on the second week of October

The University
of Allahabad has started the registration process for the admission to various undergraduate,
postgraduate, research and other courses at the University. Candidates who are interested
to take admission can apply online on the official website of Allahabad University
i.e. allduniv.ac.in. The registration process will commence till October 3.

The exact
entrance exam date has not been announced yet, but according to University of Allahabad
dates, the entrance exam for UG, PG and research courses will be held on the second
week of October.

The University
said in a statement that, the final dates for the entrance exam will be announce
later on. Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility criteria for the programmes
before applying to the university.

“If a
candidate is found ineligible for any course of study at any state his/ her
candidature will be cancelled,” read a statement issued by Allahabad
University.

The entrance
exam will be conducted in both online and offline mode for the admission in UG and
PG courses. The exam centres will lie in these  cities of Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur,
Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, Azamgarh as well as Patna, Bhopal, New Delhi,
Kolkata, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Thiruvannanthapuram.

However, in
all these exam centres except for exam centres in Uttar Pradesh, Patna, Bhopal
and New Delhi, the entrance exam for admission will be held only in online
mode. Candidates are advised to regularly keep an eye on the official website of
the University to get latest updates.

After the completion
of entrance exam, the candidates will be allowed for the counselling as conducted
by the University. Thereafter, the authorities will cross-check the documents submitted
by the candidates. After the successful verification of the documents, the candidates
will be provided admission on the basis of seat availability in the college preferred
by the candidates
