National
Testing Agency, NTA has issued a new notice regarding documents submission for
National Eligibility cum Entrance (NEET) 2021. As per the agency said for the
NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration candidates no need to upload any documents.  Candidates who have not applied so far for
NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration can visit the official website at
neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration is
October 10, 2021.

Earlier, NTA
stated that to complete the Phase 2 registration candidates will have to fill
57 columns which include four documents.

NTA official
notification reads that, “No documents need to be uploaded in filling up the
Second Phase of Online Application Form for National Eligibility cum Entrance
Test (UG)-202,”

NTA earlier
had mentioned that during the NEET phase 2 registrations, candidates need to
submit their personal details, additional details, educational details and
upload documents. The documents required for NEET second phase registration
were: category certificate, Person with benchmark disability (PwBD)
certificate, Class 10 certificate, and Citizen Certificate.

The new
notification reads that candidates will have to submit these documents at a later
stage, perhaps during the counselling process. However, nothing has been
confirmed yet.

NTA had
decided to divide NEET registration process in two parts because students can
easily and quickly submit the data.  If a candidate fails to complete both
phases, his or her seat/position will be cancelled.

The results
of NEET UG 2021 will be adjusted on the basis of the final response key. The
NTA will prepare the eligibility list for the NEET UG or All India Rank (AIR)
in accordance with the relevant NEET criteria.

This year,
NTA removed age factor from Tie-breaking policy. If any two or more candidates
get same marks, then the merit will be determined student scoring higher marks
in Biology followed by higher marks in Chemistry, followed by Students with
less proportion of a number of attempted, incorrect, and correct answers in all
the subjects.
