National
Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has extended the last date of application
correction facility till October 13, 2021. Candidates can now modify the
details submitted during the NEET 2021 Phase 2 and phase 1 registration.
Candidates can visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in to edit the
application form. To edit the application form, candidates must have to login
with their application number and password.

National
Testing Agency (NTA)  extended the
correction of NEET application form has been provided after receiving requests
from the students. NEET 2021 application form must be filled with correct
details as once filled can not be edited later. The last date for NEET phase 2
registration was October 10, 2021.

The NEET
2021 correction facility, with phase 2 registration, commenced on 1 October.
Previously, they were allowed to change only the information submitted during
the phase 1 of the application. However, within the extended window, candidates
are allowed to make changes to the information submitted during the phase 2
registration as well.

The official notification reads, “The interested candidates may avail this facility
as the Last and Final opportunity for correcting their particulars which were
filled in the first and second phase of the online application form of NEET
(UG) – 2021.”

Candidates
can make changes in the NEET application correction window by following the
steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Go to
the official website of NEET at  ntaneet.nic.in.

Step 2: On
the homepage, click on the login window.

Step 3: In
the candidate login, enter the application number and password.

Step 4:
Click on the link stating “Corrections in NEET (UG)-2021 Application’.

Step 5:
Edit/delete/modify the details in NEET application form 2021.

Details that
can be changed in the NEET 2021 correction window are – gender, email address,
nationality, category, sub-category and modification to the second phase of
NEET registration. After changing the details on the NEET 2021 application
form, candidates need to enter a security PIN.

According to
the latest update, the NEET 2021 provisional answer key is expected to be
released after October 13 once the extended correction facility ends. The NTA
will also send OMR response sheets and scorecards through email to candidates
after closing the extended correction window. However, the exact date and time
will be release soon by the NTA.

The
importance of NEET exam is because it is the only medical entrance exam across
the country. This includes admission to MBBS programme in all government medical
institutes and also to take admission at AIIMS and JIPMER.
