Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh police arrested groups that allegedly, with the support of exam staff, helped candidates to solve the paper. Some candidates had appealed in the Supreme Court on the grounds that the examination was not conducted fairly and transparently. They had requested for the exam to be nullified and conducted again but the top court did not address their plea.

The  court had said lakhs have given the exams and it cannot be canceled based on some FIRs.
