CBSE board exams schedule to be announced on December 31: Education Minister
- The dates will be announced at 6 pm on December 31
- The Education Minister had earlier said that the board exams will be conducted after February in 2021
- The CBSE had earlier this month announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Saturday said that the dates of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams will be announced on Thursday, December 31, at 6 pm.
“Major announcements for students and parents! I will announce the date when the exams will commence for students appearing for CBSE board exams in 2021. Stay tuned,” Pokriyal said in a tweet.
Pokhriyal had earlier this week ruled out conducting board examinations for classes 10 and 12 till February in the wake of the COVID-19 situation. The Education Minister had said that the board exams will be conducted after February in 2021.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier this month announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.
