CBSE class 12 results to be declared by July 31

CBSE class 12 results will be declared by July 31, said Attorney General KK Venugopal on Thursday. The board told the Supreme Court that the results will be decided on the basis of performance in Class 10 (30% weightage), Class 11 (30% weightage) and Class 12 (40% weightage). 

The attorney general also told Supreme Court that there may be a moderation committee to look into the different marking criteria adopted by various schools for the class 12 final marks assessment.

Venugopal also submitted in the apex court that each school has to form a result committee to consider the marks of students obtained in the three examinations which would be vetted by the moderation committee of the CBSE.

Attorney General also told the court that the students who are dissatisfied with their assessment through the present mechanism will be given a chance to improve their grades by appearing in the physical examinations. The test will be conducted as and when the COVID situation gets normal.
