10 things about the Pari Paswan porn video case

Former Miss India Universe Pari Paswan has accused a Mumbai production house of spiking her drink and filming a porn video while she was intoxicated. 

Pari Paswan, who hails from Jharkhand, also accused her in-laws of using the said porn videos against her as a leverage, after she filed a dowry harassment case that led to her husband’s arrest.

She said that she came to Mumbai in search of work when the alleged incident happened. She was last in the news when she had a dispute with her husband and in-laws over dowry harassment earlier this year. She had filed a case against them for the same reason following which her husband Neeraj Paswan was arrested and imprisoned.

1. Paswan says the porn videos were shot in Mumbai and accused a production house of spiking her drinks.

2. She said that the production house shot her porn video without her consent. Pari has mentioned that the alleged incident happened when she came to Mumbai from Jharkhand in search of work.

3. She has reportedly levelled charges against a prominent production house in the city. As per reports, a case against the company is ongoing.

4. Paswan’s latest accusation came following accusations by her in-laws who she says are “defaming” her.

5. Paswan had won the title of Miss India Universe in 2019. She tied the knot earlier this year with Neeraj and shortly after she had accused her in-laws and husband of dowry harassment, according to News18.

6. Neeraj was reportedly arrested following a police complaint. She recently alleged that her in-laws are using certain porn videos of her to harass her.

7. However, according to them, Pari has a history of working films of pornographic nature and her job was to trap innocent people. Neeraj’s brother Chandan also alleged that Pari is the mother of a 12-year-old daughter. She has married two youths in the past and also filed a case against them.

8. Pari, however, claimed that her husband Neeraj shared a good relationship with her daughter from a previous marriage.

9. Though some reports are linking this case to businessman Raj Kundra’s porn scandal, Pari is reportedly not aware of the name behind the Mumbai production company that allegedly made videos of her without consent.
