Pari Paswan, who shot to fame by winning the Miss India Universe 2019, has accused a production house in Mumbai of spiking her drink and filming a porn video. The model, who hails from Jharkhand, said she had come to Mumbai in search of work when the alleged incident happened even though she is yet to name the production house. Paswan said she registered a complaint with the the Mumbai Police after she came to know that the production house had made a “dirty video” of her.

Pari was recently in the news for a dispute with husband Neeraj Paswan, whose family have alleged that she works in the porn industry and “traps innocent people”. Pari’s in-laws including mother-in-law and husband’s elder brother have also alleged that she has links to the porn racket case involving actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra.

Pari has dismissed the allegations as motivated, claiming she was assaulted by her in-laws on July 16 when she refused their demand for dowry including Rs 5 lakh and a car. She said that she has registered a case against her husband and her in-laws at Katras police station.

“There is a gang in Mumbai who cheat girls and make videos wrongly and go viral. I am a victim in that case. Even after learning about this, I have lodged an FIR against the gang members for justice at Malwani police station there,” newstracklive.com quoted her as saying.

Raj Kundra was arrested by police on July 19 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. Earlier this month, Kundra received interim protection from arrest in a porn racket case registered against him by the Cyber Crime Cell of Mumbai Police in 2020. Kundra is in judicial custody after Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested him on July 19 and filed a chargesheet against him in another porn racket case.
