‘Goodbye Mumbai’: Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star Sanjana Sanghi posts cryptic message

Sanjana Sanghi, the female lead of Sushant Singh Rajput’s final film Dil Bechara, has left for her hometown Delhi. The actor was in Mumbai to record her statement with the Mumbai police regarding Sushant’s death.
She took to Instagram to share her emotions while leaving the city, which has left her heartbroken after the demise of her first co-star. She wrote, “Khuda hafiz, Mumbai. 4 mahine baad aapke darshan hue. Mein chali, Dilli vaapis. Aapki sadke kuch alag si lagi, sunsaan thi. Shayad mere dil mein jo dukh hai, mere nazariye ko badal rahe hain. Ya shayad, filhaal aap mein bhi thode dukh mein hai. Milte hain? Jaldi. Ya shayad, nahi.”
Earlier, Sanjana had shared a rather emotional post when the news of Sushant’s death broke out. She reminisced about her time on the sets of Dil Bechara and later shared that she will be fulfilling Sushant’s dream of educating children and artists.
“I vow that I will do everything to make sure each of these dreams are fulfilled, like you always wanted me to. Except, you’d promised we’d do it all together… #SushantSinghRajput,” she wrote in her post.
Sanjana’s debut film, Dil Bechara, is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The film has been directed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra and is the remake of Hollywood film ‘Fault in Our Stars’, based on John Green’s novel. The film will be available to subscribers and non-subscribers alike, in order to pay tribute to Sushant and his legacy.
