Actor Saiyami Kher to write a book on Indian cricket teams historic win in Australia

Actor Saiyami Kher, popularly known for her roles in ‘Mirzya’ and ‘Choked’, is planning to write a book on the Indian Cricket Team’s historic win over Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane and winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Saiyami said that as a cricket fan, it is the best comeback story that she has witnessed. Further talking about what appealed to her the most, she said that this win is the quintessential triumph of the underdog story. She said that no one believed that this team could pull it off and they did, despite the odds.
It would not be statistical but a humane story, she said and added that Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Shardul Thakur, R Ashwin, Washington Sundar are some of the names who will be sharing their anecdotes for the book.
The Indian cricket team has returned to their country after winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series in Australia. Rishabh Pant contributed to the team’s outstanding performance, enabling India to beat Australia for the first time in 32 years at the Gabba in Brisbane and win the series 2-1.
