Actress Vaani Kapoor officially joins Akshay Kumars ‘Bell Bottom’ as leading lady

Vaani Kapoor has officially been announced as the leading lady of Akjshay Kumar’s much-anticipated film ‘Bell Bottoms’. On Thursday, makers of the film welcomed Vaani onboard and shared two stills of Akshay and Vaani together.

While the first still has the duo sharing a hearty laugh, the second one has them looking straight into the camera with stern faces. The photos does not reveal their looks from the film. 

Vaani Kapoor, who was last seen in a small role in Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘War’, took to Instagram to share the news. She captioned the post as, “Super Super Thrilled & Excited for this one !! Teaming up with the one & only @akshaykumar Sir Can’t wait !!! #Bellbottom Let’s get this started.”

‘Bell Bottom’, set in the 1980s, is a expected to be a spy ride. In the film’s first look, shared in November last year, Akshay was seen wearing a coffee brown blazer and matching trousers, complete with his dark shades and big moustache. He can be seen leaning against a red vintage car.

The film is being directed by Ranjit M Tewari and jointly produced by produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.
