Clark Beckham, singer and the runner-up on the fourteenth season of American Idol, just dropped his new track %u2018Bedrock%u2019. 

Speaking about the song, Beckham said, “The soul of this song is about loving people, like Jesus did, regardless of what they believe or who they vote for. That%u2019s what this song is about: true, unconditional, God-like love for His people. All of them,%u201D

Beckham grew up outside Nashville, Tennessee, and became a devotee of all genres of music, particularly Pop and Soul. In 2015, he participated in %u2018American Idol%u2019. He was the runner-up and won millions of hearts.

The singer’s live performances dominated the top 10 most-viewed %u2018American Idol%u2019 videos on the hit series%u2019 YouTube channel. 

In 2018, Clark released his Year One EP, which debuted at #6 on iTunes%u2019 Alternative chart and #22 on Billboard%u2019s R&B Sales chart.

Last November, he released his debut full-length album, %u2018Light Year%u2019, which includes 11 songs.

Meanwhile, when the coronavirus pandemic abruptly halted his %u2018Light Year%u2019 tour, the singer drew thousands of %u2018American Idol%u2019 fans to his original, non-scripted YouTube series, %u2018Idol Breakdown.%u2019 

The weekly recap and musical breakdown of %u2018American Idol%u2019 episodes have become must-see viewing for fans of the iconic series. 

The show is currently available to distributors for a season two pickup. 

Apart from this, Beckham also stars in his first independent film feature, the musical drama short, %u2018An Old Song,%u2019 which is all set to release this summer.
