BAFTA 2021: Adarsh Gourav earns best actor nomination for ‘The White Tiger’

Indian actor Adarsh Gourav has been nominated in the leading actor category for ‘The White Tiger’ at the 2021 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.
The actor played the role of Balram in the movie, which is an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s 2008 award-winning novel of the same name. The critically acclaimed movie also starred Rajkummar Rao and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is also the executive producer of the film.
The other actors nominated alongside Gourav are Mads Mikkelsen for Another Round, Riz Ahmed for Sound of Metal, Chadwick Boseman for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Anthony Hopkins for The Father, and Tahar Rahim for The Mauritanian.
