Elon Musk was on a Twitter meme streak on Wednesday, giving his 86 million followers fun yet controversial content. The Tesla CEO flooded his social media account with memes, most of which were connected to his Twitter takeover. “Let’s make Twitter maximum fun!”, he wrote in one of his posts.

Inspired by memes that were already going around on the internet, Musk wrote, “Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in.” According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, a federal body of the United States, the original recipe of the beverage used to contain cocaine, now a restricted drug in the country.

He then followed up on his meme spree and posted a spoof tweet that said Elon Musk would also buy fast-food giant McDonald’s and “fix all the ice cream machines.” In response to this, Musk wrote, “Listen, I can’t do miracles ok.”

Elon Musk also slammed former United States President Donald Trump and his own social media platform TRUTHSocial in his series of tweets on Tuesday. Musk said TRUTHSocial has a “terrible name” and should instead be called “Trumpet.”

He then tipped the scales of the posts and moved on with a more serious tone. Musk wrote, “For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally.”

Elon Musk, currently the richest individual, put social media in a frenzy. After his hasty deal to take over Twitter, it is hard to know if the Tesla and SpaceX CEO is actually kidding about buying Coca-Cola and Mcdonald’s.

Twitter’s board of directors agreed to take Elon Musk’s offer to take over Twitter and is in the process to finalise the deal. The new deal will cost Musk roughly $44 billion.
