Hana Kimura, Japanese wrestler, dies at 22

Hana Kimura, Japanese wrestler and one of the contestants of Netflix show ‘Terrace House’, died at the age of 22 on May 23.
She was found dead at her home, the cause of the death was immediately not known, The Guardian reported.
She had uploaded several social media posts implying that she was a victim of cyber-bullying. Her last post on Instagram featured a photo with her cat, with the caption, ‘I love you, have a long, happy life. I’m sorry. Good-Bye.’
Kimura was the winner of the Stardom 2019 fight and was one of the six residents of the Japanese reality show, Terrace House, before it was suspended due to coronavirus.
Japan’s former prime minister Yukio Hatoyama also tweeted about Kimura’s death, saying Japan should consider penalties for those who target individuals for severe online harassment, Reuters reported.
Many people along with World Champion, Tessa Blanchard and wrestling journalist Adam Paccitti took to Twitter raising concerns over the increase in incidents of cyber-bullying.
