Ira Khan, actor Amir Khan’s daughter, recently declared her engagement with her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhar, on social media. The couple announced the big news on Instagram by means of a video. Ira visited one of Nupur’s cycling events in Italy during which he knelt down to ask her to marry him. The video features Ira standing in the audience with the crowd and Nupur approaching towards her, landing a kiss on her lips. After that, he got down on one knee and presented Ira with the ring, proposing.
After receiving the sweet proposal, Ira enthusiastically responded with a resounding “yes”, and they both kissed to fix the deal. This was followed by the audience clapping and cheering for the newly engaged couple.

Ira Khan and her now fiance Nupur Khan had made their relationship official to the public back in 2020, on Promise Day. Since then, they have been posting their pictures together on their social media handles, to the delight of their fans and followers.

Ira posted a few pictures of them on social media on their second anniversary along with a note that said, “It’s actually been two years but it feels like it was always like this. I love you. As truly and genuinely as I am capable of loving. For everything.” Reacting to Ira’s post, Nupur had commented, “I love you too. It was always meant to be like this, we just realised it 2 years back.”
