Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar writes a heartfelt note to late husband on New Year’s eve

and late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar, on Thursday wrote a heartbreaking
letter on social media addressing deceased husband saying it is hard for her to
call 2020 a hard year since Irrfan was present by her side then.
In an emotional Facebook post carrying multiple images of Sutapa with late husband, she wrote, “It’s
so difficult to wish 2020 as the worst year as you were still there. Last
year this day next to me, gardening, busy building birds house how can I say
goodbye to 2020!! Irrfan I have no idea how to welcome 2021!!”
Irrfan,
54, lost his two year-long battle with a rare form of cancer on April 29.
His wife Sutapa Sikdar is Khan’s fellow graduate at the National School of Drama.
Earlier this year, Irrfan’s son Babil also shared a still from the film in which Irrfan can be seen sitting in front of a camel.
Meanwhile, late Irrfan Khan starrer ‘The Song Of Scorpions’ that had its premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in 2017 is finally going to hit theatres in 2021.
Sutapa few days back took to her Facebook to recall the beautiful time they spent while shooting the film in Jaisalmer. She also said that for a star like him, there can never be a phrase called ‘One Last Time’.
