Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Samantha Akkineni bid goodbye to noted producer BA Raju

South cinema celebrities Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli among several others on Saturday took to Twitter to condole the demise of veteran film producer and journalist BA Raju. The news of his death was shared by son Shiva Kumar on the microblogging site. Raju died of cardiac arrest and diabetes fluctuations on Friday.

“With extreme sorrow & grief we would like to announce the untimely demise of our beloved father Shri B.A.Raju. He passed away due to sudden fluctuations of diabetes & cardiac arrest. May his Soul Rest In Peace. Dad Be A “Raju” Forever because You are a “SUPERHIT” in Our Hearts,” Shiva Kumar wrote on Twitter.

Mourning the terrible loss of the Telugu film industry, Maharshi actor Mahesh Babu wrote on Twitter that he knew Raju from his childhood days and worked closely with the producer.

Calling him a Telugu film industry PRO, actor Jr NTR wrote, “The sudden demise of BA Raju Garu has left me in shock. As one of the most senior film journalists & PRO, he has contributed greatly to the Film Industry. I’ve known him since my earliest days in TFI. It is a huge loss. Praying for strength to his family. Rest in Peace Raju Garu.”

 Singham actor Prakash Raj, director S Rajamouli, Samantha Akkineni also mourned the sudden demise of the veteran producer.

BA Raju, who was lovingly called Raju Guru, began his career in the entertainment industry as a film journalist and became a producer later. He made his debut as a film producer in 2002 with some Premalo Pavani Kalyan. He produced over 1500 movies for the Telugu entertainment industry. Some of his best works include Premikulu, Chantigaduand Premalo Pavani Kalyan.

Raju Guru is survived by two sons. His wife, director B Jaya, passed away in 2018.
