Mumbai Police summons rapper Badshah in fake followers racket case

Bollywood rapper Badshah has been summoned by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police on Friday in a case pertaining to a racket of fake followers on social media, reported news agency ANI. He reached the Crime Branch office for recording his statement.
This was second round of questioning, as Badshah was summoned earlier on Thursday. A total of 20 people have been questioned so far in case. Badshah’s Instagram account has recently seen a surge of followers, due to which he is being questioned, as per media reports.
The case came into light when singer Bhumi Trivedi flagged a fake profile of her name on social media.
Badhshah is a popular name in Bollywood and among Indian youth. His all time hits include ‘Taarefan’ and ‘DJ Wale Babu’ among many.
