Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a tweet on Tuesday requested people living in India to stay at home and follow the COVID-19 rules and precautions mentioned by doctors and frontline workers. She tweeted this after seeing a lot of images and stories related to the situation from different parts of the country. She begs people to stay in and encourages us to make our neighbors, community, etc. do the same.
With India reaching a breaking point with cases and the medical fraternity, she mentions in her tweet the advice by doctors and frontline workers. The Quantico actress states that the doctors have been saying to use masks while stepping out, get vaccinated when it’s your turn, and staying at home.
She emphasised the grave situation of Covid – 19 cases in India to make people aware of the importance of staying home. The actress ends the tweet by saying that doing all the mentioned things will help in easing the immense pressure on India’s medical system. The actress-producer also turned author also released her memoir ‘Unfinished’ earlier this year in February.
