Shruti Haasan turns 36, makers unveil the actors Salaar poster

As actor and vocalist Shruti Haasan turns 36 today, makers of ‘Salaar’, her upcoming action thriller, took to social media to unveil a poster of the film.
The poster introduces Haasan’s character in the film, named Aadya, sporting a casual brown kurta.
Filmmaker Prashanth Neel took to Twitter to share the poster. The caption reads, “Happy birthday @shrutihaasan.Thank u for being a part of #Salaar, and bringing in a tad bit of color to the sets!”
Posted four hours ago, the tweet has garnered over 12,000 likes and more than 2,400 retweets.
The upcoming film also stars ‘Baahubali’ actor Prabhas in a pivotal role. According to India TV, the 41-year-old actor described his role in the film and stated, “This is a very exciting film and my character is extremely violent, so this is something I haven’t really done before. It’s a pan-Indian film and I can’t wait to be on the sets already.”

‘Salaar’ is written and directed by ‘KGF’ filmmaker, Prashanth Neel. The film will be shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu and will later be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. The film is produced by Hombale Film’s Vijay Kiragandur. The music composer of the action flick is Ravi Basrur.
‘Salaar’, a crime action drama, is set to hit theatres on April 14, 2022. The film is the next collaboration between Prashanth Neel and cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda. The duo has worked together on blockbuster hits, including ‘KGF: Chapter 1’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and Sri Murali starrer ‘Ugramm’.

Lead actor Prabhas also took to Instagram to share the poster. He wrote, “Wishing my entertaining heroine, the energy ball on set @shrutzhaasan, a very Happy Birthday!” and tagged the film’s crew.
Uploaded four hours ago, the poster has garnered over 488,000 likes on Instagram. Shruti also took to the comments to thank the actor. She wrote, “Thankyou so much universal darling !!!! Biggest hugs,” along with a few emojis.
