Singer Shreya Ghoshal shares pics from ‘online surprise baby shower’

Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal, who is expecting a baby with husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya , was in for a surprise on Sunday when her friends threw her an online baby shower. The singer took to social media to express her happiness and wrote “how lucky am I!” She also shared a few pictures of the celebration on Instagram with heartwarming captions.

“When friends decide to pamper you even from a distance”, said Ghoshal. “Online surprise baby shower from my cutest ‘Baawris’. Everyone cooked something, or made something hand made, sent in a platter, plenty fun and games”

Ghoshal expressed her gratitude to her friends and everyone who made the baby shower celebration possible and wished that the times were different from the current lockdown situation. “How lucky am I! Wish the times were different and no lockdown/curfew were here. Missing meeting my girls.” added the Bollywood singer. 

Shreya Ghoshal put out the news of her pregnancy on March 4 this year, a week before her 37th birthday,  in yet another Instagram post. “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives”, mentioned the 37-year-old.

Shreya Ghoshal married her childhood friend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya in 2015. They dated for almost 10 years before their marriage.
